Dr. Babcock holds both DVM and JD degrees and has served as the principal senior science policy advisor to the chief medical officer at the US Department of Homeland Security and the American Veterinary Medical Law Association Board and the AVMA judicial council. Currently, she is One Health adjunct faculty at the Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine, a part-time small animal veterinarian, and a peer reviewer for a veterinary medical board.
