Please join us for another WMVMA webinar, focused on interpersonal communication. From cranky clients to team members in a bad mood, in veterinary medicine we routinely encounter difficult interpersonal situations. Pushed to our edge with the stress of our daily work it can feel near impossible to respond to these situations (and people) productively. But there’s good news! Every human being – and, by extension, every veterinary professional – has a super power that, when used, can give us (and them) the boost we need to connect and solve problems, together.

In this session you’ll learn about the Brain Bank, our natural brain chemistry superpowers, and simple evidence-based tools to connect with difficult people

 Here are the quick details:

  • This meeting is limited to member technicians and member veterinarians only.
  • After registration with the WMVMA, you will receive an email with a link to register with Zoom. You must register with Zoom to get the email invitation to the webinar.

About our speaker:  Josh Vaisman, MAPPCP, CCFP

Josh has been a proud member of the veterinary community since 1998. In 2009, he took the leap into practice management and ownership, and continued in those roles in two small-animal hospitals until
2018.

As a lifetime optimist Josh was shocked to find himself feeling spent and alone. Recognizing he had burnt himself out, he made the difficult decision to step away and recapture his authentic self.

Since then he’s dedicated his professional trajectory to elevating veterinary staff and teams so they can authentically flourish in their work.

To that end he’s obtained certificates in areas such as Positive Psychology, Workplace Culture, and Building Effective Teams and a Masters level education in Applied Positive Psychology & Coaching Psychology. He co-founded Flourish Veterinary Consulting LLC to bring the knowledge he's obtained to life.

Josh lives in Colorado with his amazing wife, 3 parrots, 2 rescue pups who occasionally share the king-sized bed, a 7 lb cat known as the “Golden Child,” some fish tanks and a few beehives. In his free time, he enjoys teaching about beekeeping, playing indoor soccer, and dreaming about moving to Kauai.
