About our speaker:

Dr. Brink began working at the Animal Emergency Hospital as an assistant during veterinary school. She had always pictured being a family veterinarian, but after spending her first summer with AEH, she had found her calling. Dr. Brink returned to AEH after graduating from Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She has always had interest in leadership, and finds great fulfillment in her role as Medical Director. She enjoys giving back to the profession though mentorship of veterinary students and new graduate veterinarians. Dr. Brink enjoys collecting and restoring vintage My Little Ponies, running, scrapbooking, drawing, traveling, and spending time with her family. Dr. Brink and her husband have two children, Emmalyn and Bennett, and a wirehaired terrier dog, Mike.
