Topic : "Recognition and Management of Adverse Vaccine Reactions"

We are excited to host our first webinar of 2024. This webinar is RACE-approved, but MUST be watched live  to receive RACE credit for attendance. (It can be watched anytime after, but will not be reported to RACE.)

Client concerns about vaccine safety are not new but easily disrupt our ability to give our patients the best care. In this webinar, Tamara McArdle, DVM, DABVP (canine & feline practice) will review the prevalence and risk factors for adverse vaccine reactions in dogs and cats. We will distinguish between physiologic and pathologic events, review the management of a variety of potential reactions, and discuss which events should or shouldn't preclude future vaccination.

Here are the quick details:

  • This meeting is open to member veterinarians and technicians.
  • This webinar WILL be recorded and available for members to view. (RACE credit will only apply to those who watch the live webinar.)
  • After registration with the WMVMA, you will receive an email to register with Zoom. You MUST register with Zoom to receive the link to the webinar.
